Sarah Young has a fine art degree and has been painting, one way or another all her life. She has exhibited widely, both in art galleries and private solo exhibitions. She also has a consistent request for commissions. Her work is predominantly inspired by the English landscape particularly in Dorset where she grew up and Sussex where she now lives. She spends many hours painting, walking and sketching out of doors.
Her work is then bought back into the studio to be translated onto canvas, immersing herself in the process of drawing and painting. She loves every aspect of the countryside but has a particular
affinity with the magic of trees.
